October 25. We went to town early today for Sage's first doctor's appointment. After being born at 6lb11oz, her weight had dropped to 6lb 1oz as was expected. Today she weighed in at a hefty 6lb 4oz suggesting that she has been getting something to eat and is putting on some weight. Sunshine's milk came in today. Sage is starting to learn to latch on, but hasn't emptied the fountain yet. All good things come with time. Other than that, not too much new, and for today that's okay.

We too have a new arrival. Last nite a kitten meowed in our carport all nite. This morning I found her on the engine. Seems like Generator would be an apropriate name--Ginny for short.
Have litter box and food now, expenses, but no plans for a baby's bed or car seat.

Glad all is going well. It's one of the few times in her life that Sage
will enjoy gaining weight.
Finished the booties yesterday. Will mail them today.
