Those of you who read the comments as religiously as reading the blog (and I know that some of you do) will be clued into the latest BIG (and getting bigger daily) development in our family in a comment in the Dec 26 post. Jacinda (and Rick) is pregnant! Due in late June. Big Congrats to the Boneau's. I sure hope that they start a blog soon so we can follow her morning sickness and cravings and his multiple preparatory projects from afar. Any way, in her comment she mentioned the string test. Here's a link to multiple methods of determining the babies sex. Ultrasound appears to be the most reliable. http://www.snopes.com/pregnant/drano.asp
I guess the Chinese lunar calendar worked for Sage as well as the hand position and heart rate (depending on the day and mom's activity level). Sage was born with a "credit card hand" (positioned by her head as she came out already asking for dad's credit card). As for the bloodshot eyes and hairy legs, well a gentleman never tells.
Anyway, congrats again.

PS. Thanks to all of those who called and chatted with us this Christmas. It was wonderful to get to visit with you even though we couldn't make it back home.

We missed you guys on Christmas. Thought we'd try again this weekend.
Is there a good time to call?
Yes, undoubtely the cutest little elf
ever!
I have a feeling the baby Sage we witnessed weeks ago , has already progressed beyond our recognition ... truly missed you all on Christmas and New Years ... appy appy !
We have just LOVED having this blog as a way to feel close to Sage, Sunshine and Kevin during this time so it is only fair to start a blog of our own dedicated to baby B and other random family news and amusements. Especially the amusements, that is key.

Happy Happy to the Lahmers-Sunshine, Kevin and Sage and all blog visitors. May your new year be full with wishes coming true and dreams awakening. As for Sage, I miss this fascinating lil’ one. Lately I've been seen to carry a 14 x 12 photo album to introduce everyone (!) to delightful Sage. May life nurture her (and her wonderful mom & dad) with happiness and heart. Matter of fact, the same to all of you :-)
As for the Boneau’s …including their very wee lil’ baby-in-oven, may your new growing life be nurtured with God’s grace.
What a terrific Christmas greeting video! (link below if someone hasn’t seen it. 12/24)
