It has been harvest time on the Palouse over the last few weeks. I took a lot of pictures, but am posting just a few as they farmed around our house. Although I am not involved, the activity does seem enticing and reminds me of busier times on the farm in Ohio.

I am impressed with the hills they can navigate with these big machines. Here you can see the use of hydraulics to tilt the head as well as the body itself to allow the bin to stay level.

Heading into the evening sun.

It is a dusty job. Thanks to all the farmers who put food in the grocery stores and on our tables.
